When the Central District was established in 1987 the agency’s executive director was Robert “Bob” Loughery, who held the position from December 1984 to October 1987. His successor was Richard Greenfield, who served until June of 1999. His replacement, Phil Kushlan, held the position from July 1999 through June of 2011. Anthony Lyons was executive director from December of 2011 through January of 2013. John Brunelle was selected to the position of executive director in June of 2013 and led CCDC through the final five years of the Central District, including its sunset in September of 2018.
