THE CCDC EFFECT
30 YEARS OF PARTNERSHIPS AND PROGRESS

River Myrtle – Old Boise (RMOB)
DISTRICT SUNSETTING
The River Myrtle - Old Boise District has been a place of steady investment and community collaboration since the urban renewal area was formed in 1995.
Guided by local leadership and powered by partnerships, this 303-acre area has seen infrastructure modernized, new housing and start-up businesses established, corporate office and hospitality industry growth, public spaces created and important historic features preserved.
This 30-year commitment to urban renewal in RMOB will conclude in 2025 and the results will be documented on this website. It will recognize the work that strengthened the heart of downtown Boise and archive the milestone projects that made it possible. This success was made possible by one of the State of Idaho's best economic development tools, urban renewal, and the strategic uses employed by Capital City Development Corp, Boise's redevelopment agency.
